BLUE MONSTER
Blue Monster is crafted solely from Cabernet Sauvignon from a small vineyard on the high elevation AVA of Howell Mountain. Sitting at 1900ft of elevation, above the fog line, and was a place worthy of birthing the Monster of Napa Valley.

Blue Monster is crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in 100% new French Oak. Fruit sorting is extensive for it’s creation. We work diligently with our farming team to ensure the rows that showcase the characteristics of Blue Monster are harvested by hand, separately.
Once the fruit arrives at the winery, it is further sorted by hand, seeking only the finest clusters to head to fermentation. We craft only as much Blue Monster as the vintage will allow, some vintages are larger, but more than often, it is less than we expect.
2022 Blue Monster
This vintage is aged in 100% new French Oak, and encompasses only the best barrels, carefully selected, from Abreu's Las Posadas Vineyard. The palate is greeted with haunting black fruits, bright spring florals, tobacco, wet gravel, and a hint of licorice upon opening.
The tannins are delicate followed by a vein of acidity. With time in the decanter, Blue Monster opened up to highlight the pronounced tannins and notes of blue eucalyptus, tobacco and gravel that Las Posadas so generously provides.
